Scare Company is the next chapter for the builder & haunter Eric Garthwait, who has been making people scream for 20 years — starting with a home haunt in San Jose, CA to building professional sets and special effects for Bay Area attractions, and shipping custom electronics, props, and animatronics to haunters across the United States. After moving to Hollister in 2018, that obsession became Haunt13: five annual front-yard attractions with drive-by radio broadcasts, a homemade elevator that lifted and shook guests, and lines stretching down the block.

We've done it for everyone else. Now, as Scare Company, we're producing our own flagship show — Haunt13, rebuilt bigger than the front yard ever allowed.

Each season, Haunt13 — the haunted attraction produced by Scare Company — will pull thousands of local visitors through its doors: families, teens, thrill-seekers, and repeat screamers from across San Benito County and beyond.
